The Ashley Madison Hack effected society in many ways. First of all it showed how no one's information is really secured when it is connected to the internet. There is no foolproof server that no one can get into with enough patience and knowledge. The hack also effected people in many ways. First of all when the list of people that were signed up for the site were released it not only caused mass embarrasment, but also cost many jobs and tore apart many families. Many people were embarrassed because their names were leaked on a cheating website and many of their spouses left them because of it.The hack effects me because it shows that nothing in the world can be hacked. Any and all of my information on the internet can be hacked. Privacy means that your information if 100% sealed from the outside, which is impossible. If you do not want to get hacked from the Russian Federation you must enable airplane mode on your wireless device, or just not post personal information on the internet.
